About North West Drilling
For over 45 years, North West Drilling has been a trusted name in water boring and drilling services, proudly serving Melbourne and country Victoria.
We are a family-owned and operated business primarily drilling within a 3 hour circumference of our base in Diamond Creek, Victoria.
Owner, Graham Brennan is now semi-retired and the business is operated by Graham’s son Andy Brennan. The Brennan family’s extensive experience and dedication has shaped our reputation for reliability and quality.
A brief history
1975 – Graham Brennan starts Woodstock drilling company
1982 – Graham starts subcontracting and working alongside Phillip Sammassimo from Northwest Drilling.
1995 – Graham officially takes over Northwest Drilling.
2007 – Andy Brennan joins the business.
2014 – Pete Brennan joins Andy and Graham.
2019-2022 – On top of drilling bores, the family undertakes a huge drill rig refurbishment, with help from a range of industry specialists, resulting in a near new machine.
2022 – Currently Graham enjoys semi-retirement, refurbishing cars. Andy continues drilling with the support of his family and offsiders.

Our approach prioritises the needs of our clients while protecting valuable groundwater resources for future generations. This means properly cementing and sealing each bore with cement grout and using the highest quality PVC bore casing available. From helping families secure a reliable water supply to supporting farms and businesses with groundwater solutions, we take pride in being a dependable partner for Victorians.
